WHAT TIME DO YOU START / FINISH?
Our teams start at 8:30am, unless arranged otherwise and will generally finish around 4:30pm each day.
DO I NEED TO CLEAR THE ROOM?
We normally ask that you clear the room as much as possible by removing any smaller, personal or breakable items. We will move larger items.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?
This will depend on the size of the room and the system we install. Please confirm this when making your enquiry.
DO I NEED TO BE THERE WHEN THE MATERIAL DELIVERY IS MADE?
No. We arrange for the delivery to arrive on the day that we are scheduled to start work and are more than happy to take delivery of the materials for you. This will prevent you from having to store material in your property prior to work commencing.
DOES SOUNDPROOFINGUK HAVE INSURANCE?
Yes. We have public liability insurance with AXA.
HOW SOON CAN YOU START?
Typically we try to start within a maximum of 14 days from confirmation of order, but we have several teams and can split a team to do emergency work within a few days.
WILL I NEED TO BE AT THE PROPERTY ALL THE TIME?
No. We can make prior arrangements to collect/leave the keys at a central point or meet you before work. All our teams are professional and trustworthy; consequently you can go about your business without having to worry about the safety of your property.
WILL THERE BE A LOT OF DUST?
Depending on the system we install there may be some dust and builders rubble, but rest assured that your furniture will be covered with dust sheets and we will ensure that your property is left clean when we leave.
DO I NEED TO ORDER THE MATERIAL?
No. We order and pay for the materials on your behalf. All you need to do is make the payment to us upon invoice. Please note that we do not add any mark-up to the supplier’s charge for the materials.
WHAT HAPPENS TO ELECTRICAL PLUG POINTS AND RADIATORS?
In most instances we will take care of the electrical sockets, but you will need to arrange with a local plumber to move your radiator forward. Where possible we can assist in this arrangement. Please note that this price is not included in our quote, but typically ranges between £80 – £140 per radiator.
