Everbuild Everflex AC95 Acoustic Sealant and Adhesive

AC95 is a flexible, water-based acoustic and intumescent sealant and adhesive for sealing plasterboard joints and perimeter gaps in walls, floors, ceilings and dry lining.

It helps reduce airborne sound leakage through gaps as part of a correctly installed acoustic system. It does not replace resilient isolation or stop structural vibration by itself.

Fire performance and application

The manufacturer states fire resistance of up to four hours, with testing to EN 1366-4:2006. Performance depends on the tested joint construction and installation details; it is not a blanket fire rating for any wall, floor or ceiling.

Follow the manufacturer’s application instructions. Overhead boarding requires mechanical fixings as well as adhesive.
